Sarah Isobel - These Things

The debut track from Sarah Isobel is finally here, and it’s stunning. A well crafted piece of indie-pop encompassing powerful and unique lyrics with a stand out instrumental section. The bridge / breakdown on this track is particularly strong, starting with a choral feel and then encompassing a beautiful keys sound before the drums kick back in. I’m excited to see what’s next for Sarah, to hear more music and to one day, be able to catch her live.
Artio - All Things End

A gripping new release from the Leeds based Alt-pop band, a more commercial sound that would usually drag me in however I love this track. The big electronic chorus is perfectly topped off with powerful female vocals, another step in the right direction for this exciting new band.
Docksuns - Dancing On The Radio

Sunderland boys Docksuns are back with another indie-rock banger. Husky vocals from frontman James lead the track through the verse before the melodic guitar takes you into the ultra-catchy chorus filled with feel good vibes and sing-along lyrics. I’d say my favourite Docksuns tune to date, can’t wait to see where the lads go next.
The Pylons - Leaving

Leaving is the first release of 2020 from The Pylons are they’re back with a bigger sound than ever before, I’d say more guitar driven than their previous work but that’s not to say the well crafted vocal lines aren’t still the focus. These lads produce an electronic indie-rock sound at it’s finest with euphoric yet chilled out vibes, this track ooses cool.
Swine Tax - Screensaver

Swine Tax present another perfectly crafted track, bringing their mix of British post-punk and American garage-rock together creating a perfect harmony. Starting off with a slightly less rough and ready sound the track soon develops into the classic, in your face attack we expect from a Swine Tax track.
