This is the third in a series of tracks co-written with and featuring Clara. The lyrics really resonate with myself - and I'm sure - most listeners. They explore the idea of change and that it can be overwhelming, taking risks to better your life, even if it means leaving behind something that formerly gave you happiness. It's admirable to see an artist produce a song of this genre with meaningful lyrics, whilst still possessing catchy hooks with clear competency.
With low-fi undertones, the track is very beat-driven, all the while managing to complement Clara's vocal conscientiously. The blend of synthetic - garage style drums, spacey guitar, atmospheric piano & synth sounds and organic vocals blend perfectly to create a luscious soundscape. This gives a stimulating, Indietronica/Downtempo vibe.
