Gigs Gigs Gigs is a brand new feature where we catch up with the bands and talk about the one thing we're all missing most: Gigs! Check out what some of our favourite artists have to tell us about their three favourite venues which they can't wait to play again after lockdown!

This week we caught up with Newcastle based indie/rock/pop/punk outfit St. Buryan who are renowned for bringing together elements from a range of popular music genres to create a perfect and exciting live show. Read what they had to tell us about their favourite venues they can't wait to play again!
Little Buildings, Newcastle
Everyone who knows me/us knows our thoughts on Little Buildings, and how much it hurt us to see all the bother they’ve been through. Little Buildings just personifies “family” in a lot of ways. It isn’t the biggest or flashiest venue, but has a hell of a lot of heart. For every show you play/watch, you always feel like you’re a part of something. We played the old venue a couple of times, attended countless other shows there, practiced there and recorded a music video there too. It meant the world to us to be asked to play the opening night of the new venue. It was one of our favourite shows, for sure. The place (and the people that run it) mean a lot to us, and it’ll be one of the first venues we’ll visit (and hopefully play) once this all passes.
Lending Room, Leeds
We made our Leeds debut at the Lending Room last year, supporting our friends in Llovers (alongside a band from Hull we discovered called Glass Diamonds, who were outrageously good) and we loved it. The setup was lovely, the sound was excellent, the food/drink from the bar downstairs was lush. The whole place (and the gig itself) was great! If we get the opportunity to play in Leeds again we’d love to head back there.
Independent, Sunderland
Honourable mentions for the likes of The Cluny, Riverside and the o2 Academy (all excellent Newcastle venues we’ve loved to play), but I thought I’d give the last slot to Independent. It’s a venue that we’d played a good five or six times a couple of years ago (supporting Cohesion alongside Picnic was a particular highlight) and we’ve always enjoyed ourselves. I hadn’t been back for a little while until playing the IWD show with Holly Rees earlier this year, and the venue looked a lot slicker than the last time I was there. You can tell that Ben, Aram and co. have put a lot of hard work into the place. It’d be great to play there again if we get the opportunity.
St. Buryan released their latest track 'How Could I Know?' at the start of May and firstly if you haven't heard it yet, why? You really should go have a listen! A perfect up-beat indie-pop tune extruding happy vibes all over. This catchy sing-along track really does stick in your head, but not in a bad way. With some great press coverage and national radio play the track has went down a storm which is all the lads could've hoped for, especially since they can't get out and play shows. Jump on the bandwagon before you're too late and listen to the song here.
